Default Is the ceramic coating on headers worth the $?

Will the ceramic coating really keep the temperature down in the engine compartment and will it prevent the headers from rusting and discoloration?
Thanks

It does keep the temp down, and so far has kept the rust at bay on my set of pacesetters

I would say so...like 2K2WS6TA says..temps,rust,looks nicer than uncoated...the best is stainless.

Worth every penny in my opinion. Especially when you can get coated pacesetters to your door for ~$385.
