Default 1/2 drive breaker bar

Is the harbor freight 1/2 breaker bar strong enough to take the 24mm bolt ont the crank pulley? Because im dooing a heads/ cam swap and need a breaker bar and it was only $20 but looked kinda weak. Has anyone on here used this to break the pulley bolt free? thanks

well.. i once broke a sears/craftsman breaker bar putting my pulley back on. It broke at the joint, the metal snapped right off.

Dunno if this helps or not..

That's what I used and it came off with a little elbow grease.

Picked mine up at Autozone and it worked great. Can't remember the price, but it's a well made, sturdy piece.

I paid 18 at advanced auto, put so much torque on it (long story, but crank bolt seized up on the way OUT) anyway, me and my wife, pulled so hard that with the E-brake on and it (M6) in 4th, the car rocked forward up onto the chocks and almost off the jackstands. That bar was bent at a good 5-10 degrees. 27in 1/2 drive. I was waiting but it never broke.

I use my autozone 24" breaker bar (greatneck, baby!) on multiple occasions and it's holding up great. It was only ~$16 too.

Krab, I think that's the one I have...

Heck, I also put about a 4 ft extension of SS pipe on the end of it, just to make sure I could get enough on it...

No problems what so ever with the breaker bar...
