Jet Hot/ 02 ext's? what's the deal?

Jet Hot/ 02 ext's? what's the deal? I purchased my Jet Hot long tubes from LMperformance.com.
It clearly states in the description that the O2 bungs have been moved to eliminate the need for O2 extensions. But after installing mine, It looks like I'll need atleast 3, 16" long extensions. So, What's the deal?
Is it possible to unwravel the big bundle each O2 wire is attatched to to get them to reach? I'm just a tad frustrated about this..
