Default I have decided

since I have a Pacesetter coated LT, TSP ORY, and LM 1 setup on my 2002 LS1 m6. I am purchasing a dynomax bullet muffler from summit or Jegs.

Both are $27.99....

I think its the 3" inlet and 3" Outlet that is 16"

anyways I hope it tones the sound just a bit. I will be much happier.

so how much performace will I lose? 1 rwhp?

Are you putting this inline with the LM I? Or is it in place of the resonator?

its too loud and raspy. I am trying to quiet it down just a notch and refine the sound a little ( make it sound cleaner and slightly lower in volume as well)

I think that will solve the problem a bit.

Ok, that was what I thought you meant actually. I don't know if it will make a major difference. They are both glorified glasspacks for the most part.

It should make a difference, maybe not a major one, but something I should notice . since the LM1 is an empty chamber/resonator and the Dynomax is a bullet muffler.

I am planning on replacing the lm resonator with the dynomx as well but I think I am going to end up selling it and just getting a Borla XR-1 instead. Its a little more money but it is one of the best sounding mufflers out there.

That's probably a good idea. I doubt you'll lose anything, especially anything that you could notice

As for which company to go for, either or really. I've been ordering parts from Jeg's for close to 4 years now, and I have not once had a single complaint about them. Most of the time, the items I order come the next day

Same will be said about Summit from other people. Just flip a coin
