Default Valve covers ?

Are Nasty Performance and Katech the only people who offer custom valve covers?

If the katechs weren't the cost of a 90mm TB I'd be all over them.

A friend purchased the Katech covers for his V, had to send them back after we discovered both valve covers leaking(bad!). They've been back at Katech for weeks, haven't heard what they're gonna do about it, though initially they denied anything was wrong. They were so warped, you could rock them back and forth on a flat surface.
Still waiting to see how they handle this since they are $400 valve covers!

no leaks here.... engine bay is so empty you can see clearly no leaks. BUT ill admit you have to make sure they are on there straight. if you had the gasket on straight too it would not leak regardless of the cover being warped. sorry for your mishap but mine are ok.

Nasty's billets are nice as well as a few others. We're talking serious coin though but when you look at the fabbed ones they're almost as much. I guess I'll have to start saving. I like the billet 2" with the 10n breather and screw cap. maybe a 347 cu in on it I dont know. Cant re-sell to just anyone if you etch them with a specific cu in.

Looks to me as if it is for running the PCV line to a catch can on a FI setup. You can also see that he has options for not only a filler cap but you can retain the stock placement of the coil packs too. I've got his elbow on my Edlebrock intake and these valve covers are next on my list. The craftsmanship and quality of the welds are second to none.

Just thought I would point these out. I don't like them though. They are too squared looking for me. I emailed the seller and he said they were made by Moroso. *non sponsor link removed.

Yea I saw them last night and asked him for a picture of them. You right though, kind of ugly. I like elbow guys stuff. I like the way he has the flat top on his fabbed stuff where others have the bungs sticking up. Its a definate maybe. We're emailing so we'll see what he quotes me for what I want. I just painted mine but to be hinest I dont think I like painted valve covers. Found another place for billet but they offer anodizing as well as etching. MayBe an anodized etch? Can they do that?

Nasty performance offers billet with powdercoating and etching. Who did you find that offers anodized covers?

Its a place in Canada. I dont want to say the name out of respect for out sponsors. Search the web and you'll find it. They have stuff on ebay. Same price as Nasty.

I'll post up pictures of my work in a while. I need to etch them first. My factory covers.

if you are doing them just for looks i think that its stupid.. unless you have lots of money to blow and your motor is already really built.

now if you are doing them beacuse of diffrent rockers, thats understandable, id just get one the valve cover extensions

I agree, but I'm at the point where I've got a $4500 347 b+b fully forged sb, $2000 heads, big cam, gm hi perf lifters, HS rebuilt stock rockers, polished nasty fuel rails, racetronix,TR Ported TB, NX dual nozzle, in process of coil mod, $2400 9", Baer brakes, Koni shocks, UMI suspension, Z07 wheels, kick-*** stereo.

My car is basically new. Can't insult it with those sad *** stock covers.
