160 degree t-stat doesn't fit???
Hey guys,
the other day I was attempting to swap in a Hypertech 160* t-stat (part # 1014) , and the it (portion that goes into the water pump) would not fit? Has anyone ever had this issue? This is my 3rd LS1, and on both of my '00's I had no problem. now I have a '02 B4C and I would've had to grind down atleast 1-2mm off each end to get it to work. No grinder, so I just ended up returning it. What gives?

Yes, I was putting it in the right way, but the one I had also included the housing. i feel better now. Does anyone know where I can get the newer style t-stat? Someone mentioned a $20 one?
