Default What E Cutout to go with?

Hey Guys Iam in the market for a 3" electric cutout. I really like the QTP but have heard many people have issues with the motor failing. are there any others out there that are kind of the same thing. Or is it just a few people with the problems.

Thanks

I went with DMH because it has a great warranty.

QTP I try to steer clear ever since I bought their Y-pipe and it was a POS.

The most popular is QTP which i have. Never skipped beat and works very well. I had others that didnt fare well at all. Why do you think the others have a so called longer warranty. Cause they need it. And try to get in touch with them when when there is a problem is impossible. Talking from first hand expirence.

Go with the QTP and you will be very happy.

I'm on my second QTP QTEC. First one came apart on the freeway. Scared the crap out of me with only the power wire holding it together. It was a godawful sound of that thing banging around underneath at 70mph. I sent QTP what was left and they rebuilt it for me for $40 or so. The three small bolts holding the motor on the plate worked loose over time and it came apart. The new one I got I redlocktited these bolts and reassembled. Should have no problems now. I suggest this to all QTEC owners. Other than that it's a solid piece.

I'm interested in finding the best one too. I think it would be MUCH easier to use an electric one, over non-electric. Just the time, and spur of the moment issues would make it worth while IMO.

First one fell apart....after I had the blade replaced because it fell off too. Second and third stopped working. I guess I just had bad luck with them.

Now that I have the McCord that's all I'll reccomend. Much cheaper and works better. Customer support is top notch too.
