Default Bullet in place of catalytic

I'm getting a new cam and its a bigger than the one i have now. The car is already loud with the flowmaster i have on it. I know with the new cam its going to be louder and more lopey. I dont have a problem with loud but the cops sure do

The car currenlty has no cat. If i find it to be way too loud when i put the new cam in will putting a bullet muffler where the catalytic was along with my flowmaster help. Or would i be better off just putting on the cat instead. Which will cost me more horsepower putting the cat or bullet. I dont really care about emissions just tickets.

Got your T's and S's backwards? Either way, a bullet will help some and give a bit of a deeper sound. But, probably not as much as a cat will. Get a high-flow cat if you go that route. That'll help limit the amount of HP you trap in the exhaust.
