Default opti spark (red top)

Let me just begin by saying HOLY HELL!!!!!!!!!!! I hope this damn battery lasts longer than my car for the price i had to pay. $151.00! I bought it cause my stocker took a **** and was egged on by friends in the car world to buy an opti spark cause they are supposed to be awesome. Well, i jumped on the band wagon and got one, just wasent expecting to pay over $100 for it! Oh well, just wanted to rant alittle.

Off topic....

Are you taking your car to Dyno Day at Dynotuned Performance tomorrow ( 4 Nov)?

50 bucks for 3 pulls with AFR and printouts.

Yea Optima Batteries, had a red top and i let it deplete for a bit, it fired up ok, but wouldn't take a charge. Sears did replace it for free so i can't complain. I did break the lip that holds the front of the battery on a hard launch, so if you drag race i'd take a giant zip tie to hold it in place...

I would love to come out there some time, but with as much as I work, I don't find much time to ventur that far from the home base. lol. Do you happen to have any good suggestions for a shop around here that can do heads and cam install? In the next few months I will be getting a set of heads, and possibly a cam.

I was at Dynotuned Performance this morning. They seem like a pretty straight forward group of guys. Friendly and easy to talk to. They have an in-ground dyno and can tune with EFIlive, HPTuners, Predator, ect.

They had a 2005 GTO on the rack they were doing a Procharger install on while on the other rack they have an RX7 doing an LS1 conversion.

Give them a call. 757-549-3966 They are at 820 Greenbriar Circle #15. Chesapeake Ask for Frank. Brent does the tuning. Website is dtpracing.com

They can do the install and tune in one shot. I will be there at 10 am on the 13th for my tune if you want to swing by.

Cool man thanks, Keep us updated on your tune, let us know how it goes. I am still trying to figure out what head and cam set up I wanna go with. I have an 02 Z28, with LT'S and TSP TD's. and a air lid. thats it for now. I have only had the car since June of this year, I got the bug, and it bit kinda hard. My wife really don't like the idea... But hey most wifes don't. lol
