Default So Damn close!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Life is a bitch!! Today i went over a friends house to install my headers and y that have been sitting on the floor in my office for about a month and we had everything almost completely off when he crawled under my car to take off the y from the i-pipe and he said "hey man, got some bad news". It seems when i had my cut-out installed, they welded the y and i-pipe together, making it impossible to seperate without the use of a sawzaw!!! So looks like the headers will sit for atleast one more week!! Im gonna try to find a muffler shop that will cut the two apart this friday

Dude...go to Home Depot or Lowe's and rent one (a sawzall, a.k.a. a reciprocating saw). I doesn't cost much to rent one...you'll have to buy the blades though.

That sucks. I found out my y-pipe is welded to the i-pipe too. A shop was changing my clutch and showed me it was welded together(by the previous owner) It was kind of in the way. But im glad i found out before i my LT's.

You'll forget all about the irritations after you put them on. I cant wait to put headers on!

I had them weld a three bolt flange between the y pipe and I pipe just in case the exhaust ever had to come off.
