Default pipe size

im gonna be installing my headers over my christmas breakand i need some advice on the size of tubing to get for my t/d setup. i know im gonna run an H-pipe with single chamber flows dumped but i cant decide 2.5" or 3", im only looking to get 400 rwhp when im completely done with the car but i don't wanna get a 3" exhaust and not need the extra size and just lose ground clearance.

I have a 2.5" and have over 420rwhp. I like it for clearance and scavenging.

2.5" here, lowered ~1.75".....if you ever plan on getting rid of the stock 4x4 stance then you'll have much better clearance with 2.5" versus 3".

....I think I made the mistake of ordering 3" 1 chambers and Cats. I want to lower my ride for sure, but I dont know if I'm going to be able to pull this off with 3" duals

I just had 2.5 td's put on my car and the exhaust guy told me if i wanted to lower it it would be better to go with the 2.5 instead of 3. He also said that if you went with 3in you might be losing a little bottom end power if not up around 550 hp.
