Default Update with links to pics

Ok the original post is below. I have been having problems with my header & exhaust install in that it would make a fluttering sound when ever giving it gas. here is the original thread https://ls1tech.com/forums/generation-iii-external-engine/605095-problems-after-header-exhaust-install.html

Here is the deal went to the shop and they pulled all the plugs and wires and nothing was wrong with them. They went around all the bolts and tightened them down but it was still making the noise. So he said the only thing that he could think of was the gaskets were bad. Now it was only leaking on the drivers side so he didnt mess with the passenger side gasket. But I included pics so you can see what the gaskets from pacesetter are like. They are copper gaskets and dont seal worth a ****!

He replaced my drivers gasket with a Mr. Gasket ultra seal gasket and now there is no problem
Here are the pics. You can see where it was leaking exhaust on the gasket and also included are pics of the new gaskets they put in.

Is that a paper gasket?
If it is you'll have the same problem in a few hundred miles
Get the OEM steel gaskets (like $12 from the dealer) you won't have any leaks

Atleast the problem was found. It sure sounded like a spark issue. I've heard good things on those Mr gaskets so you should be ok there.

I did read here first but thought I would try the copper gaskets. I learned my lesson by the way.
