Default loudmouth

just finished putting my new loudmouth on. OMG i love this sound. i know some people like it while others dont, but i happen to be one of the ones that likes it. also, after i took the old one off, i found out it was a flowmaster. lol. i thought it was the stock one. oh well.

the LM1 isn't that bad... it gets bad with LT headers and no cats...tons of rasp...not so great...on stock manifolds, its got a decent sound...just my .02 cents

I found the same thing! I bought my car with the Dual/Dual I guess which was purchased with the car new. I took it off and it said Flowmaster!

Also. If you plan on getting headers down the road and like the sound of your setup now. Don't listen to everyone else and go get another catback because the LM is raspy. Just replace the bullet (dynomax, borla or LMII) I have the LMII with LT's and there's virtually no rasp. When I gun it, it's raspy for about 2 seconds around 4k then just sounds insanely heavenly the rest of the time.

I had the LM1 before the long tubes and thought it sounded great. Then I got long tubes and now it's just obnoxiously loud and raspy.

I helped a friend install headers and duals on his car the same day I installed my headers and his car is not as loud as mine with the LM1 (and his sounds a lot better too).

I've got pacesetter LTs, catted Y, and LM1. I love it, I don't think it's so raspy. It's not a daily driver either, but the insanely loud blast you get above 3k is addicting.

My loudmouth sounds great on my 01 LS1! Its a great exhaust....good if your on a budget...quality construction....and definitely a great sounds if you are just catback. However, I am getting ready to install Jet Hot LT's and ORY....and think that I'm swapping the LM with Hooker with the aerochamber...sounds great! The rasp is just not for me....if you like that kind of rasp...get a Chevy Z-71...and put 33"s and straight pipes on it...just my .02 though....

I loved my loudmouth, but decided that I would rather have a quiet car. I went with the 4" setup, and then ditched it for the current true duals.

i cant tell if there is a difference in the car other than the sound. i definitely like the sound alot more than the flowmaster. i like the way my buddies car sounds with his and headers.
