Default Slip fit merge collectors... options

I recently had the Edelbrock vic series headers put on with he slip fit merger collectors and y. well of course, there leaking at hte merge's and the y i think. I remember reading someone used aluminum foil or aluminum tape as a sealant in these areas??? i can't seem the find the thread, i'm just wondering if i have any other options other than having them welded and ruining the ti-tech coating...

Hope it works for you too!
