Looks good. I see a bunch of houses in the background? Is that lift in a garage at a house?! If so that's awesome.

SAhhhhhweet. Is that a dual/dual?

I waited untill after my cutout to transition to 3", made a little more sense in the pressure drop catagory, but it was a son-of-a-bitch.

orangepeel: ya we tig welded everything was able to be welded on the bench-anything we had to weld on the car we used the mig. the flange it so i can pop the mere off for tranny removal just to make it easier. except for the 2 on the tailpipes every clamp is a band clamp-i might switch those out but they dont seem to leak so i havent seen a need yet.

nhraman: yes it is.

sweetbone: yes that a house in the background-this is in his garage at his house.

theblur: no its a corsa-i wish it was a dual dual sometimes but mostly just when i think about the cme.

magnet: i had the mufflex y before-i actually reused the pass side of the mufflex y on this one and reused the merge. it would be much easier to build from scratch. im sure hed do another one if u wanted him to beings ur local.

Looks very nice...seems to tuck up under there real well.

What kind of cats did you use? They seem narrow and low profile outside diameter...

i pretty much just held stuff where i wanted it-the guy did all the welding and cutting. i got the cats off of ebay. they are very small. they are metallics also so they shouldnt cost me too much. it tucks up very well. ill try and get some pics of it clearance wise shortly.

one of the clamps came loose on the catbackk and the cutout section is sagging a bit so ill tuck that back up later but u get the idea on clearance.

BTW, my cutout is similar in location to yours. I was wondering if an electric opener would fit, and one of those turndowns looks like a good idea! Thanks for those pics!

Is that a flowmaster merge? If so, what size? I got one so I'd like to know if it was easy for your dad's buddy to work with. The piece between the merge and the cutout is a reducer I take it?

I was thinking the same thing. That's a nice variety of exhaust parts. Looks good though.

If it is good for tranny removal, then I am all for it.
