It'll help just a little bit. Probably not worth the time or money though. I had the dynomouth catback and just went to a completely new catback.

i had a dynomax bullet in my i-pipe and recently had it changed out for a Classic Chambered. It IS NOT any quieter. Yes it sounds better and has less drone but it is DEFINITELY not any quieter. But again, it sounds a ton better, maybe you will be able to tolerate the noise when it sounds better, lol

I put a flowmaster CB cause my dynomouth was too much for the neighbors. With the CB on it almost sounds as loud as when i just had my loudmouth kit on there before the headers.

Are you running a complete dynomax catback, or just a dynomax muffler like a bullet? Let me know and I'll try and help you out some more.

The noise level between the two are going to be really close. A powerpack (non crimped powerstick) will be a little bit quieter than the dynomax bullet. The powerpack will have a lot better of a tone to it. It'll be a bit deeper as well.

I have a Powerstick welded in the mid pipe with a custom y to keep the dual tips. The rest of my exhaust is stock and it sounds pefect. No drown but still loud when I want it to be. I actually wish it was louder now.
