Default I need H-pipe Pics

Does anyone have pictures of an H-pipe dumped at the axle?

I want to take some pics to an exhaust shop to show them what i want.
How much does it usually cost to get an H-pipe made (dumped)??

Thanks

I just called a place and they gave me a break down of the price.

I will need 2 flanges to hook up to my LT's.....$8 each so it is $16
And for every bend in the exhaust it will cost me $18(mandrel bend)
And he said it would take about 2 hours. Labor is $75hr....So $150.

So its going to cost about $200 w/o mufflers. I'm getting 2 dynomax bullets.
(the price is for two mandrel bends. Do you think i will need more than two bends in this setup?)

I still want pics to bring them....

You'll need some 45's and some **** to make it nice. I guess he means $18 for a 180* mandrel?

Check the TD sticky for inspiration, print some pics of a nice setup so he'll have something to go by. Tell them to remove the tunnel brace and flip the fuel line brackets the driveshaft tunnel for some more clearance.

I think he was taking about mandrel u-bends. I read the entire TD sticky. I knew about removing the tunnel brace but never read anything about the fuel line brackets. I told him i would stop by so he could check out my car and show him what im talking about. It seems like he knows his ****. I really want to get a pic of my exact setup and a sound clip.

I heard an x-pipe with dynomax bullets dumped and i liked it. But the car i heard had a cam.

U bends = 180 lol. 2 x 90 = 180.

Keep your old exhaust so you can swap it in and try to pass emissions in Ca.

He can probably cut those 90's into a couple 45's if needed.

I will keep my stock stuff.

I'm debating if i should go through the hassle of a custom H-pipe or should i just get an custom ory made

either way I doubt you will pass emissions in Cali. Go for H-pipe duals or X-pipe duals, it cost me $500 for install and parts for my 3" x-pipe true duals with dynomax bullets dumped. Id think it would be near the same price for an H-pipe set up? Your quote is pretty good considering they are doing mandrel bends and not cutting and welding.

I really want duals and i'm already going to be illegal with the LT's so i will probably go with the H-pipe and just try to find a hook up in summer 2008 when i have to smog again.
