Default Video: Open Borla vs cutout vs LMII

http://videos.streetfire.net/search/...12006fd2aa.htm

Hey guys, this was a video from earlier this summer when I did a magazine shoot with GM hightech performance, it can give you a general idea of sound quality (or lack thereof lol) and loudness of different exhausts. You will have to pardon our times, it was over 105 degrees.

My car was the black TA with tint on the windows. At the time I had LT headers, ORY, and open borla.

The silver formy had LT's open cutout and hooker catback

The firehawk immedietly following me had stock manifolds with a LMII catback.

If you want to watch the whole video it's pretty neat, some exotics and a LS7 were there.

0:35 silver formy
1:15 my TA
1:50 firehawk with LM

after watching this I'm even more glad i went to a catted y pipe =p

and I KNOW the exotic drivers could not even find their gears even if they had the **** in their mouth.

Good looks on the video upload.

thanks guys

It's mainly good to see the volume change in exhausts since that's every third question on this board lol

Those cars are not 1/4 mile stars. Those cars are made for high speeds and road courses. But you already knew that.

yeah, that run was when I had the ORY. The smaller the plate, the better the tone, and less rasp, but it gets really quiet. The borla muffler is actually REALLY quiet if you start filling in the plates. I really like loudness but hate rasp so I compromised with open plate and catted y pipe (my current setup) .. unfortunately no video of that =/

EDIT: Forgot to add one more funny thing: the techs came and spoke with me and said if it wasn't a closed course for the few cars they had, they would have kicked me out for my noise level
