Default ORY Q's

Is there a company that makes an ORY that will bolt up to factory manifolds? On our 99 WS6 we lost the drivers bank of the engine, witch loaded it up with fuel and toasted the cat. So we need to replace the Y-Pipe and there is no way we are putting cats back on. However there arent any funds for LTs at this point, so we need to find an ORY that we can bolt up to the factory manifolds. Do you just order one for shorties?...Or is there a seperate kind? Also, will the car be able to run and drive ok for a couple weeks without a tune after we put in the ORY? Will it just have the Engine light? I just dont want to do any damage. Thanks guys.

You should be fine until you get a tune, or even without because most of the time a change like this will expose a rich-running car...you're going to be smelling a lot of gas, but should be safe to the engine as alot of people do it without getting a tune.

The SLP and Borla Units act as though they only replace the crushed oval section of the factory Y. The SLP one even says, attaches to the factory Cats and Exhaust Pipe.... What we need is a replacement that will run from the Factory Manifolds...all the way to where it can mate to the cat-back.

I have a custom one from when i had my stock manifolds. Ill get some pics and sell it if ya want. It was a kooks, but the fitment was horrible. My buddy that works for TNT (they build badass vipers) cut it and fit really well
