Default Possible MISFIRE HELP ME!!!

so this is the second time that this has happened to me. Last week i was driving on the highway, and the car like jerked twice. I went to school and about 4 hours later i was driving home and it jerked again and just cut off. It started right back up but the check engine light was on. I scanned the code and the CKP was bad. I changed it and the light went off and all was good. Last night, I was romping on it at about 80 and it did the sameee **** all over again. But this time it did it about 4 times on the way home. WTF COULD IT BE!! I have full bolt-ons including headers and a tsp ORY. Personally I think the wires are melting because of the headers.....If the a few wires are bad from the harness, how long would it take to repair? How can i prevent the wires from melting in the future again? thanks!

What the hell is CKP?

You could buy some spark plug socks, or position them so they don't touch the primaries.
