I can't seem to find the engine number. Can anyone tell me where I should be looking?

Behind the front cover or in the back where the engine connects to the trans. That is going to be the P/N if that's what you're looking for.

I need to find the engine serial number not the casting number of the block. Where is the serial number stamped on these blocks?
