Question UD pulley install question....concern...

this is the second time I did this, the first time was installing it..and now I swapped a cam in so here we go again...

i took the old bolt...and proceeded to seat the pulley....got it seated, and proceeded to torque to 220 ft pounds...well...it seemed to just bottom outbefore I could get there...the bolt WOULD NOT turn anymore...and it was tight as ****(not not cross threaded or anything).....sooo I left it, backed it out..and installed the new GM bolt....37 ft pounds, then 140 degree turn, and that was it....

does this sound right???

i dont remeber all of this happening the first time...
Thanks
Erik

Sounds about right, not sure the exact steps i took when i did my cam install. But it did sound similar to that, if anything just check out LS1 How To and see what it says there and you shoul dbe good to go.
