They fit perfectly like they came with the car from the manuf. Did not need poly mounts nor does my y pipe bang on floor boards at wot. Great headers

I had QTPs and they were crap. So now Im really investigating the quality and fits of systems, I like Kooks so far, American Racing looks nice but im not sure of them. I kinda want to buy from a bigger company who keeps in check their quality contriol.

I am getting a set of Kooks, heard they had the best fit and finish, well worth the cost.

Unhappy

I just had my kooks installed this week. The sound and power are great but I’m having problems with them rubbing bad underneath my car and on my steering column. Going to try the poly motor mounts next week…

I'm having a hell of a time with mine on my 97 camaro. I got the stepped race header and I can't get the damn things to fit. They hit the cantaan oil pan and the oil filter it looks like thay were designed for a dry sump system. I got the whole k-member out and still can't get them to fit. The pacesetters I was going to run fit without any problems. I'm kinda pissed that $1100 headers are giving me this much trouble hopefully Kook's will call me back.

LT1's are a pain to install headers on.

Here they are on the car, kinda hard to see.

my FLP LT's fit great I didn't have to take anything off. I haven't heard anything bad about Kook's though. They to be a really good header as well.

Comparing Kooks to Pacesetters is like comparing Jenna Jamison to your mother, it just doesn't work and it's not right at all. I have the kooks and they tuck like non other.

I have the Kooks and you really can't compare them to Pacesetter, it's Rolls Royce and Yugo.

whatever, there are more pacesetters sold than kooks. yeah they are very nice, but if you have a budget, pacesetters win.

its like comparing a boosted cobra to a procharged LS1. they both do about the same thing, except the LS1 does it a ton cheaper.
