Go with the ls6 and scratch the BBK or pick up a F.A.S.T unit. How about free mods??? not sure that anyone actually gains anything from them but their free.P/P throttle body?? again not alot of hp/tq gain but will help you in the end. What are you going to do about a tune???Without the powershot I would guess somewhere around 340- 350ish rwhp IMO.Forgot A4 or M6???

With the LT's, catback, lid, and ls6 intake manifold you will probably be around 340hp. Then do the ported TB and gain a little more. I say at least 5hp. I think porting the stock throttle body is a good mod and it gains some hp/tq.

Yea a ported TB has shown sometimes upwards of around 10 rwhp and 10 rwtq increase...
As for what you will put down, what are you starting with? It's very important you get your car dynoed with a baseline BEFORE you do the mods, so you can really see what the modifications gain you on the same dyno. But I would guess ~340 if you are a M6.

if its an auto stall it! my car only had a hood,lid,cutout,3600 vig stall, and 3.42 gears and ran a 12.7..not sure of horsepower cuz im getting headers, lca, phr, and nitrous installed as we speak and will get the shop to dyno tune it...i tried the hypertech and think its a big waste of money

Yea its an A4..
im pretty sceptical about throwing on the torque converter.. it is a DD.. won't they make it a really annoyhing drive everyday to work and school.. i know its a huge hp difference but i already eat like 99% of cars around here with just the LM2 cat-back (would eat them stock)... but maybe i have a messed up image of driving with a torque converter would feel likie... can somenody plz basically brea k it down for me in like light to light traffic.

You're not going to hear this from anyone else but I don't like converters. They are too sloppy for me, loosing that 'tight' engine RPM feeling. It's like having a CVT transmission, the revs just stay there, and don't fluctuate at all, just not my thing...besides the performance aspect, I'm talking about for love of the car. I like hearing/feeling/sensing the engine going through the normal RPM band not a shortened version of it.

Thats weird... I have an ORY with tons of leak and a flowmaster 80 series muffler, which from what ive heard is like one of the crappiest flowing mufflers out there... and LT's and i made 334/345. With TD's, a NW 90mm tb and fast tb and a tune, i should be upwards of 360 hp or a bit more maybe.

the cam
yea.. i was thinking about a cam.. i read the sticky on it.. but still not understanding.. dont you also need to upgrade the heads??... and with the mods that im doing (all bolt-ons).. will it even do me justice to buy a cam?.. like the on you mentioned.. will that add any significant HP increase with the mods i mentioned??.. like i said it is my DD and i dont want to put significant stress on the motor.. but a small cam like the one you mentioned.. is it worth it?

Before you do cam though, you should get all the boltons and especially have a good exhaust system.
As far as whether or not a small cam is worth it, that's entirely up to the person and their goals. For me this baby cam is a good combination of low end (and off idle) tq with decent top end rush. It's known to push over 400 rwhp with heads and ~380 or so without...very decent for such a small cam. I think it's worth it, especially for an automatic without a converter, that's what this cam is perfect for this application.

My quick opinion of my semi-small torque convertor...
Stall is very fun when running the car hard or racing, but if you drive normally 99%+ of the time in traffic with lots of stop lights etc. it will get annoying due to the slop as it seems/sounds like the car is working too hard to get going.
My car is not a daily driver so I like my stall.
