Default New catch can from JEGS

just opened my new jegs mag... saw this air oil separator


looks like some of the ones you guys made from Home depot parts.

That looks identical to any of the air/oil seperators that you can buy in the air compressor section of any tool section.

What I like about mine is that the inside walls are tapered as you go up so the oil can't climb the walls. Also, the filter element contains a heavy duty stainless steel mesh (think really tough brillo pad) to cool the air and help condense the oil. I nearly completely eliminated all of my oil consumption issues with it. My intake is clean now.

Nah, I didn't make it, it's the AMW catch can. I forgot who's it was, but did a search and figured it out. I bought mine when they were cheaper than the $160. I think I paid around $85 - $100 if I remember correctly.

I just installed a Husky mini one the other day. I now know where that 1/2 quart of oil goes between changes.
