Have you tried a search on the subject? I only ask because it has been beaten to death many, many, many, many, many, many times.
Bottom line: if you do it, do it for looks alone. You will not see a power gain. Those that believe otherwise need to do a Google search for the "placebo effect", because I assure you, that's what's going on here. Marketing is one of SLP's strong suits...unfortunately, it gets the best of consumers that don't have the awareness to distinguish marketing from real world results.

Definetely a waste of money, even for the fernco. With the "smooth bellows" on, you won't be able to unclip your lid and inspect/change the air filter without loosening the whole assembly from the back of the bellows that attaches to the throttle body. Another thing is your lid will be under added stress due to the bellows not being very flexible, this allows the torque from your engine to be transferred to the lid and could break the tabs at the back of the lid.
And yeah, the search really sucks sometimes.

Well put Steve. I had a Fernco, and it was a trimming nightmare. The lid rubbed the hood like a priest on a 14 yr old.
