Default qtp cut outs

Just wondered how others liked there qtp electric cut out. I've had mine for 6 months or so and it seems like the set screws keep loosening on the motor shaft even with red loctite. Also just had the butterfly plate break and found the bolts that held it on were welded to the back of the shaft. Steel rivets worked great in the existing holes. I like the concept and love the ease of setup and use. Just wonderded what everyone else thought.

so far i've gone through 4 of them, just as you said the screws kept loosening, and the motor just kept falling off. i'm going to be trying the McCord power plate next.

I've been throwing the idea around of getting one myself this spring. I would like the most trouble free one though. Hopefully there will be more comments.

i liked mine at first but now i never close it so i kinda wasted my money buying the electric plate. it still opens and closes after about a year and a half.

I loved mine. Until the screws backed out, loc-tite'd them and fixed that, and then the damn thing just quit working all together. They will fix it for a few bucks but I don't have a need for it now that the car is gone.
