Default Will TDs Hurt My Performance?

I've been wanting to install TDs for a while now. I'm running a 383 stroked LS1, mild 218/218 cam, all the bolt-ons, LTs with 3" magnaflow cats, and 3.42s in the rear. I was planning on dumping them right before the diff. Would this actually hurt my top end? I'm not worried about noise, and I know that TDs eliminate some of the backpressure, but I'm just not sure if they will work all that great. I'm really not looking to lessen my top end power. Thanks.

Why do you think you would lose top end? What are you doing for a cat-back right now? Ditch the cats and add true duals and you'll probably see your numbers jump by 20 rwhp easily. DO IT!

and the sound that that comes from true duals will make you cream your pants
