Default LS6 Intake Questions

Just out of curiosity, what is the difference between the LS6 intake that came on late '01 cars and all of 02 cars Vs. 98-01 cars????

i have a 2002 trans am, so i know that i have an LS6.. but how can i tell???

and what is the biggest difference?

The difference is the older cars have an LS1 intake not an LS6. The LS6 is worth 5-10RWHP depending on mods over the LS1.

Yeah, you can. If you look at the bottom of each intake manifold LS6 has a flat bottom while the LS1 has recess bottom. LS6 intake have more volume inside than the LS1 because of this.
