Default Problem !

i went back from collage today.
when i start the car the "Engine Service Soon" sing came out.
any body have any idea what is this sing for ???

I would make a crack about not being able to spell "college" while attending one, but being that you are from Kuwait, I'll cut you some slack

The Service Engine Soon light illuminates for emissions related things (usually). Could be an O2 sensor being lazy, could be any one of a number of things. You need to figure out what code is being set, and go from there. Otherwise, it is a shot in the dark.

It certainly isn't a good thing, but is usually emissions related. If it is something like an O2 sensor, you might just notice worse gas mileage. I don't think anything's gonna blow up though if that's what you are asking

some of my friends here told me i might have a blown engine. that what i'm woried about.

I know but I was just making light of you not knowing wheter or not the motor was blown. But, anyway I hope it isn't anything major and that you just need a sensor.
