I have an ASP crank pulley. It's worth the money. You could drop as much as a tenth off your 1/4 mile time. The rest of my pulleys are stock.

ASP crank pulley here, no problems with it. I personally wouldn't go through the hassle of installing one unless you're doing a cam swap where the pulley has to come off anyway. That damn pulley was the worst part of the whole cam swap!! My $.02.

Dont you just loosen the nut...put a puller on it then go in reverse?

Ah, if only everything were as easy as it sounds.
I think it's safe to say you've never had the pleasure of removing/installing one? There's very little room to work, the fans have to come out to make room for the puller, and it took heating the bolt w/propane torch to loosen the loctite and a 650ft/lb impact gun to break my crank bolt loose. It's an awful lot of work for the little gain you get if it's the only mod you're doing at the time IMHO.

Do you have to use the shorter belts with a UD pulley? It said it also requires new shorter belts.
