Default Anyone ever tried 3 cats??

Been thinking of ways to get around the smog police in cali. wondering if anyone has tried to rig up 3 cats to there car. 1 after each header then 1 in between the y and cat-back??

2 and a dog..but never three cats..............


The problem in Cali is t hat you cant move the cats from their stock location....or that their missing..its really just that simple

That and a cat where the y pipe merges would be VERY restrictive

i dont plan on running it that way... just when it comes time to smog it.
all the times i have had my car smoged they just poke around under the hood and stick the sniffer in the tail piece

actually a high flow cat really dosn't add that much restriction. on back to back dyno runs at my school we saw only 1hp gain on the top end

Also that far back and it probably wouldn't get up to the proper operating temperature.....?

My 3.4L only has one cat but its after the Y pipe.. so that being said it in theory should get up to the proper temp.
