Default Anyone using a TQ strap , to hold the LS! motor from twisting?

I am looking into a TQ ratchet strap or other method to keep the motor from twisting and causing my FLP long tube header -Y-pipe from hitting the flore board.

i like to find out where you mounted it to and where you go it and what type you are using.
Thank you for your help

No need to use a tq strap. If you are still using the stock motor mounts replace at least the drivers side one with a polyurethane one. That what I did on my car and it solved the y-pipe banging problems. Hope this helps.

I mounted mine to the drivers side head on a rod end and then welded a bracket to the fram rail just below it with another rod end and then used a threaded sleeve to allow it to adjust for rigidity. I wouldnt recommend daily driving with it though.

Poly mounts are nice. They'll fix ur problem and make the throttle response feel a lil more 'solid'... wellllll... maybe that one was in my head lol

You can put some radiator hose between your y-pipe and your floorboard and it will stop the banging. Much easier than dealing with motor mounts.

Poly motor mounts, or even solid's. Lots of guys run the solid motor mounts and don't report any ill effects (to my disbelief, untill I read the same thing over and over).

Well it's not worked on a bunch of people's setups as they've posted about it on here.

From the way it looks on my Car it should work fine,
Mine is not smashing the floor it is just hitting slightly on roll out ,
it vibrates the floor a little

Don't buy it that was the biggest waste of money ever.

Why not
It secures the y-pipe , even if it dont work 100% it still will support the y-pipe
