installing oil pan on fbody

Default installing oil pan on fbody

I did a seach and came up with nothing. Do you really need that alighnment tool to install a oilpan?

no alignment to install... you may have to lift the motor up to clear the crossbrace and another person is extremely handy

when i installed one on my 98 camaro i did not need that tool, just take your time and have fun with the cross brace

alignment tool? why would you need an alignment tool? wouldn't you just push the pan up onto the studs and thread the nuts up?

yep that's what i was thinking

...although that gasket can sometimes be tricky
