Default can i get 12 secs with bolt-ons???

I drive a 99z-28 camaro and the best time I got out of it so far is a 13.76 at 101 mph. It is an a4 and it is bone stock. Is it possible for me to get 12 secs with just bolt-ons?? If so what do I need??

Bigger Stall Converter
Gears
Longtubes/ORY
Lid/Filter
Sticky Tires.

Good for high 12s easy.
I have a friend with an 02 SS m6 that ran 12.8 with just a lid/filter on e.t. streets.

i had a friend with an a4 02 z28 that ran 12.8 bone stock, didnt respond to mods so well though...

stall/tires/headers should get you atleast to high 12s, i'd be there if i didnt have transmission issues...

Get a stall/cooler/shift kit and borrow some sticky tires on lightweight rims. See what that nets you and go from there...

Yep, good advice. Just be shure to get a 3500+ stall. If you have 2:73 gears i'd look into getting some 3:23's or 3:73's.

I've run 12.7's on MT Drag radials in good air with just the mods in my sig. In more normal weather 13 flat os 12's with bolt on will be easy. just make sure to get a good tune.

ya thats very easy to do. a stall converter should get you into the 12's alone. Ive seen some that get into 11's with a full bolt on car.

Bahh, who needs a tune to run 12's J/K my car would probably drop close to 2 tenths with a good tune, but i've lived with it the way it is for over a year, so I probably won't get it done untill I get some LT's

You should get in the 12s easily with just bolt ons. My 02 A4 SS ran 12.62 @ 110 on wore out drag radials with just bolt ons. The car still has the stock 3.23 gears and stock stall. A Yank 3600 stall will be my next mod and I hope to be in the low 12s with new tires.

just a decent stall and some stickies should put u into the 12's.. most full bolton/tuned/stalled auto's run low low 12's.. throw on a 150 shot and u will be well into the 11's...

u need to find out what gears u have.. if ur running 13.7 im guessing 2.73...

My Z28 ran 13.4-13.5 w/ just true duals and lid then I added longtube headers and it ran 13.1s consistantly. Gotta love autos for that. My next project mod is a stall 3400-3600 and a tune.
