LS1 intake manifold fit on silverado 4.8 engine?!?! HELP!! my question is what accessories do i need from a LS1 to make the LS1 intake work on a 03 gen lll 4.8 silverado motor..i already have a intake,injectors and fuel rail off of a 99 LS1 chevy camaro i just need to know what accessories from the front of the motor do i need to make it work it seems that the alternator might be in the way on the 4.8

ok im new with this whole f-body talk and all i really dont know what your talking about..lol sorry but if you could explain more on what i need for it to work that would be perfect! i guessing your saying that i need all the frontend accessories off of a LS1 motor and it bolts right onto my GEN III 4.8?

u need all of the front end stuff. the car manifold will sit lower and hit on something i forget what, cause i tried when i had my siverado and it did not work. Ive heard the 6.0 truck manifold works good for the 4.8 and 5.3
