Smooth Bellow Really Worth It??????
I am debating on buy one. The reason i ask is b/c i jsut bought an MTI clear lid, and i do not want to do the FERNCO b/c i hear that it crakes your ****! I know that the bellow does prolly nothing for gains, not looking for a gain, jsut looking to clean up the engine bay a little bit.
So would you buy the SLP one if there was a gain or just keep the stock accordian style one?

Well if you are doing it for looks then is $50 worth a better look under the hood to you?? That will answer your question.
If you were doing it for power, you might as well but a tornado and a new muffler bearing while youre at it.

hey i already have a tornado in the filter and new muffler bearings
LOL, i was thinking of buying one used, not new..
i mean the smooth bellow would have to let the air flow a little bit better right? With the stock one, isnt it turbulent? and the smooth one, well it is smooth so that the air can flow btter?

how i see it is if your eventuly goin to spend 1500 on heads 400 on a cam, blah blah blah, whats $50? You wont even notice it out of your wallet, so why not get the extra 2-3 hp

i like to think in the world of theory lol... Like i said if i come across one used then i will grab one, but i am not gonna pay $50+ for one..
Thanks Brad

I have the SLP bellows, stick, and no cracking or anything. Also have the SLP lid, maybe that's made out of more flexible plastic then the clear one. If it fits right, and doesn't put too much pressure on the lid, I don't see why it would crack. Maybe trim it down a bit if you're worried about it.
