Default header question

I see alot of you guys go with the Pacesetter LTs, and they seem to work out pretty well for you, but on LS1speed.com they look like they need welding to install. I dont see a flange on the back like with the flowtechs. anybody know if these headers need to be welded to the ypipe?

They have slip fit collectors. Get the pipes expanded that's attaching to the collector so it will slide over and then use some band seal clamps to hold them on. Don't let anyone weld your exhaust system to to your headers.

i thought it was something like that.

so if i get the pacesetter LT and ypipe combo they should just all peice together with no fabricating right? the "get the pipes expanded" part kinda freaked me out there

The kit should be ok, but be expecting some fabricating I'm sure. Check out the stickie at the top and here's a link showing a Pacesetter install.
