Default Good combo??

My Hooker Aerochamber muffler has taken a massive **** (it is falling apart on the inside) and my MAC cats are starting to go as well. I am replacing the muffler with the same type.

Here is what I am thinking about replacing the Cats with:

If you don't want to click the link, I am purchasing a 3" Magnaflow Carsound Catalytic Converter.

Anyone have any objections?

Yes that's the right converter, just make sure it has the right Diameter, 2.5" or 3".

I bought those for my shorty duals combo and they served me very nicely.

Awesome. Do they tend to resonate or do they produce an OK sound?

I wouldn't say they resonate, but they do muffle the sound down from if you were running no cats.

That's fine with me. I need a mellow sound (nice and quiet) until I open up the cutout
