Default ls2 intake

Just a quick question!!! I have a friend that works at a dealership and just picked up a ls2 intake for me for free, will that work on a ls1!!!

It will fit but thiers no power gains, pretty much the same thing as a LS1 intake better off goin LS6

the inlet area is designed for an ls2 TB so it might be a PITA getting it to work.

i have heard really good things about ported ls2 intakes lately...do some research..i know its a pain to get it to work though

You will need a custom braket made for the throttle cable and the LS6 will do better. LS2's are nice for FI but do not excel at NA setups. Plus you will need a 90mm throttle body

I thought some of the ported ones were flowing almost on part with a ported FAST?

^^^they definately have, i just haven't kept up with who ports them etc...but i know they can do really well ported...
