Edelbrock makes stepped long tubes in stainless, ceramic coated, and a ti-tech finish at a great price and they tuck up real tight and hooker makes 1 7/8 long tubes at a good price to but I have no experience with them

I have kooks 1 7/8 headers with a lowered car and they fit great. Clearance wise they tuck up under the car better than alot of other headers I have seen.

i have qtp i 3/4 on mine and the driver side seems to hang alittle lower than i would like.i've seen a set of kooks on a car that looked like they tucked very good.if you are set on 1 7/8 i'd either go with the kooks or stepped edelbrocks.

i think the 1-7/8" LT's might be necessary, the motor going in is an 11.3:1cr TSP 408 built for a 200 shot. I've got Grotyohan LT's on it(1-3/4"), but i dropped the 346 out of the bottom yesterday, and LT's should probably be done now while the entire front suspension is out. this car has DMS springs, and i've scraped these grots, while my buddy Paul(lsevenl on here) has QA1's and kooks and they hang super low, so low thats what scares me away from them.
