Default True Duals

I've got stock exhaust and want to do true duals and eventually Pacesetter LTs.....can anyone give me a detailed setup to use, with everything needed? I won't have headers for a while...don't know if that makes a difference or not.....still new to modding. Do I get diff. cats, no cats, x or y-pipe, mufflers?......i do know i'd like to dump the exhaust though....Thanks for the help guys!!!!

bassani makes a true dual kit that bolts up the stock manifolds, but its goes all the way out back.

my suggestion is if your doing exhaust, do the headers too.

stainless steel bassani= like $900 bucks i think

pacesetter headers with the texas-speed true duals would be less than that and the texas speed exhaust is dumped

that is exactly what i did my ceramic coated headers and true duals all from texas speed. great company great price. i have had my exhaust for about 6 months now and still love it. it all cost less than the bassani setup. i have no cats an x-pipe and sweet thunder mufflers. i love the sweet thunders very old school muscle car sound.

I say go with the tsp duals and get some headers from them also and just install them all at the same time. Its a pretty simple install.

The Bassani setup is a great system. It will be much more refined than the TSP setup. TD exiting out the back are going to be less vibrations and noise and the fact that it's stainless steel means it will last long on the car.

Ok..well almost...

As lsx24 will tell ya they provide everything from the cats back. It replaces the stock "Y" with the X..travels back over the axel and thru a dual in dual out muffler..looks like this

If you want to dump the exhaust don't get the bassani and botch it up with cutouts. Get the TSP Rumbler setup for that.

You could probably replace them with chambered sticks. Almost like having a GMMG true dual setup. Now that would be the best of both worlds IMO.

Hope you can get away with the dumps in CA. Seems like the bassani with cutouts might not be a bad option for you now that I think about it.

Exactly what it sounds like. It is a 45° off your pipe that has an opening. You can either cap it off with the supplied block off plate or leave it off for maximum loudness and top end power.
