Default true duals mufflers

What would be a good set of mufflers to run on a 5.3 Avalanche with custom true duals set up that starts with a set of long tube headers and cats...

I'd go with some Magnaflow 4x9 ovals or something of that nature...if you want a bullet, I'd hands-down do the Borla XR-1s (although they only come in 3", not 2.5" like I would need). I really like my Magnaflow bullets, but they will snap a cop's head around in a real hurry if you get on it.

I'm a fan of ultraflows. I had a stainless ultraflow welded in place of the Bassani muffler in the Bassani true dual exhaust and it sounded awesome. Very clean real deep and good tone. Check out the clips on my web page for sounds.

Flowmaster 2 chambers (aka 40 series).

Very popular with Stang guys. The only reason that LS1 guys do not run them is because they don't fit under our cars; you would not have that problem.

Keep in mind the ultraflows are a full size muffler, so it will sound much more refined than normal dumps and bullets. Also, since it's straight through, it will have virtually no backpressure.

I like the Flowmaster 1 Chambers,
my TREX kind of hits you in the chest now at idle (standing behind the car)
