Even though drivetrain weight is less, unless the car is a high rpm, auto x car, they lose revs quick, which sucks for the street. Keep the stock one or something stronger.

The reason i said it would get closed as im sure its been asked a million time before, if not then thats cool. Anyway ive read the sticky at the top and decided on a set of Pacesetter LT's and the TSP duals. Also im going with the SLP flow pac as it seems to have everything in it that i will need. As for the intake i already have a ls-6 so i think i need to change that out. I cant seem to find any larger MAF ends but im still looking. If there is anything else please let me know. Thanks LA

Personally its not going to help you with MAF ends unless you tune for them and the big question is, does the car need it. Is it a bolt on yes, is it useless, most times, can money be spent else where, absolutely.

if you have a full induction work, ported MAF ends and TB will give you about 10 to the rear. go with larger injectors to dump more fuel into the cylinders... and you will feel the difference!

yeah man my car sucks on the streat, thats why a beat a ctsv with my top down when equiped with only a slp loudmouth, slp lid, ported tb, electric water pump, and a aluminum flywheel correct? it only sucks if you DONT know how to drive... it only looses revs quick if you take your foot off the gas, it also gains revs faster when you have your foot on the gas- a plus imo

i wouldnt consider aftermarket plugs or wires to be making any difference unless the stockers or ones in there are high milage(very high or broken for the wires). where as the aluminum flywheel is actually noticible.

if you are going to fab up an intake check out my sig for some ideas...remember not to funnel it down because air can't really be compressed at our speeds so if air is not being compressed it needs a bigger opening to make up for the velocity not increasing...

anyways i got about almost every bolt on now except EWP, and a full dyno tune (not really bolt on but hp gainer)...keep the ls6 intake and ported throttle body until you go heads and cam, only worth like 5rwhp on a SI car, like ours...have fun
