Default How to tell,ls6 from ls1, while installed?

hey guys, how can i check to see if i already do not have an ls6 intake installed while its still installed? i'v seen pics of under the intake but obviously i cant tell if its installed. i see that one of the tubes in the front, where the tb bolts on to,may be different. is this a way i can tell?

Run a search here on the part number that is stamped on it, it is visible while installed.

look on the passenger side of the intake for the coolent lines. if one is running under the intake to the back of the engine you have an LS1. if its not and it only runs to the other side of the engine (passenger to driver) then you may have an LS6. if you have EGR you have an LS1. if not LS6. again like brad8266 said, run the part number to be sure.

Thats not 100% the best way to know. I have an LS6 intake yet i still retained my coolant lines. I grinded down the ridges on the bottom of the manifold to make the extra room needed. If you went by coolant lines you would think i have an LS1 intake, but i dont.

Yeah they are all the same. I just pulled all the EGR stuuf out and deleted the EGR code out of the PCM.
