Default AIR system line connection points

I have two AIR tubes coming from the front of the car. I know one tube attaches to the air system that crosses over connecting both manifolds to a central point.

The question is where does the other one go?

I was thinking maybe it's one tube for each manifold and I can just get rid of that single connector...?

nevermind after doing research on another ls1 site I do not use the intersection part on my 98 air system, each tube simply connects to its own manifold.

If I'm wrong let me know.

Here is a pic of the part I don't think I use on my setup.



I wish they wouldn't have changed all this small **** on the different year F-bodies...
