hooker aero chamber muffler

I would not recommend it on stock manifolds and cats unless you want a very quiet setup (just slightly louder than stock). It sounds the best when it is paired up with LT's and an ORY. Even with headers and ORY it is pretty tame compared to other cat-backs. I think it has a nice, refined sound with no rasp or drone. It is ideal for someone who wants a high - flowing setup that doesn't get obnoxiously loud unless you are WOT.

I liked my Hooker the most when I was running stock manifolds and cats. It was deffinately a deaper sound, slightly louder when cruising, and more noticeably louder in the upper RPMs. After hearing a LS1 with a loudmouth on stock exhaust there was no way I was going to put it on so that is why I went with a Hooker.
With LT, and ORY it is loud. I ended up putting sound insulation in the back half of the car so I would not get a head ache. I am considering some high flow cats to help get rid of some rasp, and quite it down some.
