i was doing an exhaust on a ram pickup truck. It has a y pipe and after the y there is a o2 sensor right b4 the cat, there is 1 after the cat as well. the passenger header has the o2 bung if i connect the o2 there and he gets a dual exhaust with the cat on 1 side woud that trigger a code?

You should be fine if you still have a pre and post cat sensor. Even on 1 one of the banks.
