as i have been told once before by a couple members on here, a turndown on the y pipe will be loud as hell, however, it will basically sound like a dump truck...it won't be refined or toned like a normal exhaust, just straight loud...but if thats what u like, then by all means do it, running no muffler won't really hurt anything...

I have pacesetter longtubes a TSP O/R y pipe and a SLP resonator dumped off the y pipe with a turndown. I love it. I put some soundclips in here. At idle you can really hear the stock cam real well. When I get my cam in a few weeks from now I think its gonna sound sick. At WOT it sounds AMAZING! Its not noisy at all inside the car idling. It kinda makes a weird sound between shifts but I think it maybe torque managment screwing with the car. This exhaust setup almost took a second off my ET. 13.8 stock 12.9 with exhaust

my friend has a dynomax dumped and it is noticably quieter than my slp lm catback on, im having some cat back fitting issues with my new ory so im thinking of dumping after the muffler, my car is really low so i need to find a turndown that doesnt hang to much

cant u have a muffler shop make a turndown? bend like a 12" section of 3" or whatever u need and angle cut it to length and for the actual turndown? thats wat i was gonna have done, i bet it would be cheaper than buying one from a company.
