Default turn down

My slp lm is not wanting to hook up to my paces setter y pipe. What's the pros and cons to just putting a turndown on the y and just leaving it at that?

Anytime you dump exhaust under the car, you get interior resonance and it'll be hella louder in the car. It'll probably sound a little deeper from outside the car from the sound waves bouncing between the ground & body of the car.

as i have been told once before by a couple members on here, a turndown on the y pipe will be loud as hell, however, it will basically sound like a dump truck...it won't be refined or toned like a normal exhaust, just straight loud...but if thats what u like, then by all means do it, running no muffler won't really hurt anything...

I have pacesetter longtubes a TSP O/R y pipe and a SLP resonator dumped off the y pipe with a turndown. I love it. I put some soundclips in here. At idle you can really hear the stock cam real well. When I get my cam in a few weeks from now I think its gonna sound sick. At WOT it sounds AMAZING! Its not noisy at all inside the car idling. It kinda makes a weird sound between shifts but I think it maybe torque managment screwing with the car. This exhaust setup almost took a second off my ET. 13.8 stock 12.9 with exhaust

cant u have a muffler shop make a turndown? bend like a 12" section of 3" or whatever u need and angle cut it to length and for the actual turndown? thats wat i was gonna have done, i bet it would be cheaper than buying one from a company.

The SLP LM 1 is not a muffler. I just changed it out to a SLP LM 2 and the 1 is totally hollow. Just a 4" pipe with 3" ends...

I made my turn downs. It was pretty easy if you have a sawzall and a welder.
