Default home made catch can

I installed the Huskey all purpose filters just earlier and added a universal breather filter. i started it up and it ran a little ruff and at 750-850rpms (lower that normal) and i heard a lot of hissing noise coming from the engine. i then cuffed my hands around the uni. breather filter and the engine smoothed back out. so how am i to use the uni. breather? should i just get the oil cap screw in from speed inc.?

did you cap off all the other stuff too? Are you sure you installed the breather on the right tube ?

edit: Are you talking about a breather or a catch can? You can't really do both

i realized after the rough idle and hissing i couldn't do both. i put the breather w/ a T hose adaptor after the 2 Huskey filters. works great w/o the breather... though haven't seen any oil caught yet, but only drove 50 miles so far on it.
my question was... what vaccum hose can i install that breather on or should i just go w/ the screw in oil cap style from Speed Inc.?
